Just started developing a new addon, that automates surface tracking process in blender, utilizing it's native tracking abilities. This might come pretty handy for compositing and VFX artists in such tasks as digital makeup, retouche, all sorts of cleanup on a deforming surfaces, etc. Here are first tests after a night of intense coding.

Finally got a chance to give the Fracture Modifier Blender build a try in a real production. The result may not be perfect due to time/budget limitations (as always, duh!), but it was fun to figure out how the whole thing works over night and build something acceptable with it 🙂
